Rumors galore. One rumor has it that the Palace was less than happy with the plebian background of Kate’s parents. Her father is a former airline pilot and her mother, Carole, was an airline hostess before amassing millions by selling childrens toys over the internet. One rag speculated that the straw that broke the camel’s back was Carole chewing gum in the royal presence ( Horrors!).

I’ve never heard of or considered the seating arrangement suggested in 1 C.
For question 2, I’d have guessed B ; it sounds swanky while ‘ Loo’ seems like lower class slang.
As for question 3, I’d have thought that you’d give your children more, not less, as you moved up in class.
Can this really be true ?
